The Institute
Who We Are
The Development Institute (ID) is an academic training organization with high standards of quality and research. It was founded in 2001 and recognized as an Institute of Higher Education through Law N° 2872 of 2006.
The ID has undergraduate and graduate programas with high international quality
Our programs are instituted by academics with doctoral training (PhD), which allows each student to achieve an education that transcends the borders of specialization.
Research on sustainable development issues is a central axis of the ID, proof of this is the institutional production of various books, articles in peer-reviewed indexed journals and articles in books published by renowned publishers worldwide.
Mission
Our mission is to form a group of leaders with quality technical knowledge, based on ethics and social responsibility, through undergraduate and graduate programs with a permanent and professional doctoral staff; in addition to implementing high-quality projects whose products result in prestigious publications that serve the scientific work.
Likewise, promote processes of change towards sustainable development through support to local and national leaders, to improve the living conditions of the Paraguayan population.
Vission
To be an academic institution of research and action, inserted in the international academic community, with the highest quality standards, made up of a competent team committed to society, that generates intervention models in favor of sustainable development, that promotes public policies evidence-based local and national, as well as sustainable business development for job creation.
