The «Micromaster in Data, Economics and Development Policy» Program offered by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MIT, under the free edX platform. The Master’s degree in Economics offers complementary courses in economics and advanced quantitative methods, aimed at preparing for doctoral programs in world-class economics.
Our objectives:
- Study and pass 710 hours (11 courses + thesis seminar)
- Pass the defense of a master’s thesis.
Graduate profile
The graduate will have the profile of public policy maker, researcher, consultant, high-level university professor, with the ability to lead research projects in the different areas of financial management (finance), including applied microeconomics, macroeconomic analysis, corporate financial analysis, econometric financial estimation, simulation of financial models, project financing, asset valuation, banking and financial management, among others.
You will be able to work in institutions dedicated to research, teaching, consulting and key positions within the public sector and non-governmental organizations, both local and international.
